Poznań Pride Month 2024

This year, for the first time in history, Poznań will celebrate Pride Month throughout June, rather than just one week. The main event will be the 20th Anniversary Equality March. Uniquely, the City of Poznań is co-organizing the celebrations together with the Stonewall Group and Estrada Poznańska, a groundbreaking event in Poland. Stonewall has chosen regional TVP Poznań as its media patron, a channel previously known for its conservative stance towards the queer community. The information provided by the organizers lacks mention of other media patrons, including LGBTQ+ outlets like queer.pl from Kraków or the bi-monthly magazine Replika from Warsaw. This may be related to a program on TVP Poznań, which will be hosted next Wednesday by the former president of the organization, Mateusz Sulwiński.
